- Guidelines for reviewing art
First to be an art reviewer, you must know something about art.
You should read books on art, go to museums and galleries. You can also do art yourself, taking workshops in art. You can interview artists, keeping a journal of these interviews that you can quote in your art reviews.
When reviewing a work of art, you should know something about the genre of the art. What type of art it is. Collage, expressionist, abstract.
Learn the different styles of art and the different genres. Learn the history of art.

What is the theme of the work of art?
Describe the painting or sculpture or drawing.
